What an amazing week we had! So many miracles and so much SUN! can't get much better than that:)
A shout out to my amazing little brother Nigel who turned 14 this
last week! I love you so much buddy! hope you had an amazing birthday!
And a shout out to EDWARD, ELDER YEATES! who got his mission call!
WOOOHOOO i am so proud of you! Seriously you are going to be an
INCREDIBLE MISSIONARY!!!!!!!!
We got 3 new investigators this week! People are opening up more and more
which is so exciting to see the change in the work!
We were stopping by less actives visiting them for Easter and we met this man
who was pushing his new four month old baby in the park and as we
walked by he read out our name tags so we stopped!. He was super awesome
and agreed to meet and talk more! Then our first meeting with him was
just awesome and he is really open and had
tons of great questions. He has a family and so we are super excited to
start working with him and helping him and his family come into the
gospel!
T, our new convert received the priesthood last week and this last
Sunday he passed the sacrament! wow he is just amazing! Sister K and i
were seriously just beaming we were so happy! Knowing that we had a part
in helping this man come into the Gospel
and realize that he has a loving Father in Heaven and Savior really is
just so incredible. It reminded me that that is why i am here! Helping
others come unto Christ and changing their lives for the better:)
N is doing awesome. We just met with her yesterday and are having
her fast and pray next Sunday in order to know if she is ready for
baptism. Would love all of your prayers!
One thing i have learned this week as we have had zone conference
and such is that Revelation has not ceased in our day! "The Heavens are
not closed!". That is one thing that i love about out church, is that we
know that there is more revelation to be revealed for all of us together and personally. "God has not ceased to
be God", he is an "Unchanging God.." and he loves all of his children.
Continuing Revelation is real! We can all receive guidance in our lives.
And all we need to do is have a desire to
know, then act (reading the scriptures with a purpose, and going to
church and such) and then ask God through humble prayer. I KNOW this
works. On my mission I have had experience after experience where I
personally have trials and have received direction and
counsel from the Lord. I know that he loves each and every one of you,
and that he wants to help you all in your lives. He has been and will
always be there, we are the ones that need to take that first step of
trust and let him lead our lives.
I love you all and i hope you have an amazing week!
Love sister Yeates
